Draft · review before launch
Privacy
Short version: PhraseCalc doesn’t collect anything about you.
The app
- No account, no analytics, no ads, no tracking.
- Your notes stay on your devices (and in your own iCloud, once sync arrives in 1.0). We can’t see them.
- To convert currencies, the app downloads exchange rates from a public rates service (ExchangeRate-API, with Frankfurter as a backup). Like any website, that service sees your IP address. Nothing about you or your notes is sent.
- The paste button never reads your clipboard until you tap it.
This website
- No cookies.
- Visitor counts, if enabled, use a privacy-friendly service that doesn’t store personal data.
- If you join the waitlist, we send one confirmation email through Resend. Once you confirm, your email is kept by our newsletter service, Buttondown, and used only to tell you about the launch. Both see your IP address when you sign up, to filter out spam. Every email has a way to opt out. If you send feedback, we use your email only to reply.
